    Hi, I’m Ben. I’ve spent more than 20 years marketing big national brands and tech companies - most recently online marketplaces.

    In 2020, my wife and I set up our own business - a swim school - which taught me firsthand what it takes to build and run a successful service business.

    My background was originally in journalism but I soon moved into marketing and I’ve led campaigns across every channel - from PR to TV, YouTube to social media.

    I built the social media team at Carat, one of the UK’s top media agencies, and have helped turn start-ups into scale-ups.

    In a world that’s increasingly automated, practical expertise is at a premium. I started Clever Folk to help exceptional service providers achieve the growth and recognition they deserve.

    I’m Vlad and I’ve been growing businesses with targeted digital advertising for 14 years. I’m experienced in all aspects of performance marketing, including paid search, social, display and video, with a focus on driving efficiency, scale and revenue.

    I’ve helped grow the biggest home services marketplace in Europe and worked for LG, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and YOTEL, as well as various software and independent service businesses.
